Dr. Charles. T. Post, Jr. is a board certified ophthalmologist with over twenty-five years of experience in eye microsurgery. He received his medical training at Yale Medical School, and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.  He was a Harvard Clinical Fellow in Ophthalmology.

Dr. Post has served patients in Plymouth, Southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod – performing tens of thousands of microsurgical and laser eye procedures.  During this time, he has also worked with major manufacturers of surgical and laser equipment, as well as with the FDA, in conducting clinical trials of new technologies.  He has written and participated in over 150 publications and seminars on ophthalmic and surgical issues.  In addition, he has lectured nationally and internationally on these techniques.

For 3 years, Dr. Post served on the Scientific Advisory Board of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.   He also served on the Board of Directors of Windsor National Associates for five years, two years of which he served as Chairman.  He has also been honored multiple times as a recipient of the AMA Physicians Recognition Award.

Dr. Post has served on the staff at Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary in Boston.  In that capacity, he also participated in clinics and taught residents.  He currently serves on the staff of the Plymouth Laser & Surgery Center, where he also serves as a director.

In addition to lecturing on ophthalmic and surgical techniques, Dr. Post derives great personal satisfaction from lecturing about his international medical relief missions.  He has performed hundreds of eye examinations and surgeries in Africa, India and the Dominican Republic.
