Allan W. Berg, M.D.

Dr. Allan W. Berg is a board certified ophthalmologist.  Dr. Berg received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, where he served as President of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.  He completed his residency training in Ophthalmology at the Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco, California.

Dr. Berg served as a Colonel in the U.S. Army Medical Corps.  During his service, he was the Chief of Ophthalmology Services at the Walson Army Community Hospital in Fort Dix, NJ.  Following honorable discharge from the Army, Dr. Berg established a private practice in Littleton, CO.

In 2002, Dr. Berg relocated to Cape Cod and continued practicing ophthalmology.  In 2005, he joined Post, O’Connor & Kadrmas Eye Centers as a general ophthalmologist.  In this capacity, he provides patients with primary eye care including comprehensive eye examinations for the early detection of eye disease.  He also provides medical treatment and follow up care for patients with glaucoma and other eye disorders.  Additionally, Dr. Berg co-manages post-operative care to monitor and maintain healthy vision for our patients.

Dr. Berg is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
